Twisted Pig Grill - Modesto

Food: Portion was good, the main reason I was upset here was because it had cheese even thought it was not noted in the menu. The menu said that it had mushrooms and peppers only. I did not check the food and also The sides, the fries, were very good. The BBQ sauce was also good, I would come back for the food. I want to try some more items on the menu next time I go. Price: It seemed pretty fair. I would eat again to find out if they have a happy hour or something of that nature. Ambiance: I will probably end up coming back because it seemed more like a bar place rather than a take out place. I will update this review once I have come back. The place was busy on a Friday night. Service: The lady at the bar got to me quick and directed me to the back in order to complete/pay for my order. I did not tip, I normally don't for to go food, the lady was nice and did not overlook my receipt for a tip once I paid. I liked the bartender and cashier, they were both pleasant. Bathroom: N/A. Did not use the bathroom, but will update once I do. Summary: The place seemed fun. Service was good, people were helpful, they did mess up on my order but I would return to give them another shot because the side and meat was good in the sandwich I had. Looks like a fun place to get together and have a drink with friends.

5.25.2023 UPDATED MENU I have been dining here for a few years now, and I have never been disappointed by the food. Small hidden gems like this are so awesome to come across. I would recommend to anyone looking for some great BBQ, or possibly a hamburger that isn’t from a chain restaurant.

I came in during lunchtime and was greeted warmly and sat quickly. The food was pretty good and the ambiance was perfect. I did notice they do karaoke and would definitely return to try something different and try out their karaoke night. They are sort of hidden, but are visual from the road in a business park.

Love this spot for their unique drinks, homey atmosphere, good music, and delicious eats! Coming on the days that Candace is bartending makes for an absolute treat. There are also lighter fare options which can be a surprise since the name entails .
