Taqueria Lagos - Modesto

The food was fantastic, and the flavors were truly exceptional! My wife ordered green sauce but received red instead. I, on the other hand, specifically ordered the red sauce. I had a Michelada made with Pacifico Beer, and it was delightful. I enjoyed a burrito and an enchilada with carne asada, while my wife had a chile relleno and a chicken enchilada. Both of our meals came with beans and rice. Since we dined in, we also enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa.

After my initial visit, I was certain I would return. This has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, and the food is excellent. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff provides great service. The establishment itself is also tidy and well-maintained.

Excellent food!! Can I say delicious? My Super Burrito with asada was amazing—I finished the whole thing! The service was fantastic, and I was eating just a few minutes after placing my order. The atmosphere is bright, and the restaurant is very clean. It's a perfect spot to relax with friends or enjoy a lunch break. So good, so good, so good!!!

The asada burritos are really tasty, and I appreciate that you get chips and salsa even when you order to go.

I learned about this restaurant from my wife's coworker and decided to visit it for lunch with my wife. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my meal was prepared and how tasty it was. The staff were incredibly friendly as well! I ordered a non-spicy shrimp dish due to some stomach issues, and it turned out to be perfect—no heartburn or any discomfort at all. It's a charming little place that deserves more attention. I highly recommend giving it a try! I’ll definitely be going back soon!
