P Wexford's Pub - Modesto

A week later, I returned for another burger, this time with my boss. My burger was fantastic, but my coworker was disappointed with her Santa Fe wrap, as it was missing avocado and pepper jack cheese—ingredients she had been really looking forward to. I don’t understand why this keeps happening, and I hope it doesn’t become a pattern. To make up for the trouble I had with my burger, Stephanie kindly provided me with a gift card, which I really appreciated. However, when I called today and mentioned the issue to the hostess, she simply said she would inform the cook, with no additional options or inquiries on how they could resolve the problem. It seems like the quality here is inconsistent—it’s really a hit or miss.

Charming little pub with good service and friendly staff. I would love to see a larger selection of beers, but overall it's still quite enjoyable.

The service was quick, and our waitress was very pleasant. I was there with my daughter and my 8-year-old grandson. When the waitress asked if there was anything else she could get for us, he jokingly replied, "Can I have a back rub?" It must have been the relaxing atmosphere that made him feel so comfortable! Lol

Food was okay. I had Tri tip beef dip with steak fries. The meat on the sandwich good but didn't care for fried onions on it, were too strong. And the au jus dip was watered down with no flavor. Fries were ok but some of them undercooked. Service was good. Atmosphere looked like any other bar.

Good food, wide choice of fresh, craft brew, and great Irish pub atmosphere. One of the best around. Darts anyone?
