El Pollo Loco - Modesto

The Pollo Bowl offers delicious food at a reasonable price. I tried the Baja Shrimp Taco for the first time, and it was great!

The homemade tortilla soup is always excellent. I highly recommend trying it!

I was expecting my order to come with two small bags of chips, but they were missing. Additionally, I only received one small container of creamy cilantro dressing instead of the two I had ordered. While the macaroni and cheese is incredibly tasty, it is quite small and not worth the price at all.

El pollo loco keeps raising their prices and this most recent burrito was super disappointing. It was a lot smaller, it was flat, and had almost no chicken. Looked more like a Taco Bell grilled burrito honestly. This place used to have awesome food and decent prices. Now, not so much.

Driving to the restaurant took about a mile. I ordered the double chicken avocado salad and double chicken nachos. I wasn't able to finish my nachos alongside my simple chicken salad. The register was malfunctioning, so the cashier said she couldn't provide me with a receipt. Aren't they trained to load the paper properly? I felt a bit overwhelmed by the experience, but I couldn’t confirm anything without a receipt. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first issue with my order; I had checked everything before leaving.
