La Vecchia Fornace Closed - MODENA

We ate twice at this restaurant while being at the Hotel Castello in Modena, and loved it. The first night we had bruscheta for apetizer, followed by clams and mussels, then snochinni a la gorgonzola and scalopini al balsamico. Everything so good. The restaurant was filled with locals, friend and families, so nice to see them, all very welcoming that we decided to go back again the next night, this time for pizza. my husband had the Modena Pizza with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, fresh arugula and balsamic vinegar) and I had the Special with Mozzarella, ricota, Prosciutto di Parma and Porcini mushrooms) all very good. If you are around, go there, I am sure you'd like it.
