Via Emilia - Mobile

I can't praise the atmosphere and food enough! Via Emilia was recommended to us by our Airbnb host. The charming, cozy setting on the outdoor terrace was only outdone by the most delicious gnocchi I have ever tasted! The Caesar salad was also fantastic. My friends ordered the chicken dish and raved about it. The service was top-notch as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back next time we are in town.

I love this places atmosphere. It’s small and really cute. The Bolognese lasagna was really good but a piece of the pasta was not cooked which was too bad because I really liked it. The service was good.

Great food. I only took off a star because it was freezing outside they didn't have any indoor seating. To be fair it's a very small place. Will definitely eat here again!

Truly fantastic food in a quaint and cozy Italian restaurant. The patio is worth a mention as well...quite nice. The food was the best Italian we have found on the coast (Biloxi, Ocean Springs) and we will absolutely drive 45 minutes to get it again. The chicken picatta and angel hair w/ meatballs were extremely well done for simple dishes. The bread they serve from the oven in chunks cut for dipping olive oil sets the table for what is to come. I regret not taking more photos but we had a large party of 16....that they served well and accommodated. Can't wait to come back!

We visited the restaurant on Monday night, May 9th, 2022. Unfortunately, our dining experience was terrible. I ordered a stuffed pork dish that was extremely tough, to the point where I couldn't even cut it with the steak knife. My companion had a fish dish that was subpar, despite being a fish enthusiast. The champagne I ordered was flat as it had been opened the previous week, and they did not offer to replace it with a fresh bottle. The cocktail my companion ordered was also lacking in quantity. Additionally, our server seemed disinterested in ensuring our comfort or the quality of our meals. The manager was rude and unprofessional. If we weren't dining with another couple, we would have left before placing our order. The restaurant is overpriced and I would not recommend wasting your money there - there are plenty of better options in Mobile.
