The Admiral - Mobile

Musty smell in the lobby and rooms. No restaurant. Pool is outside with no usage in extreme hot temperatures. No umbrellas. Blinds were old. Rooms were cramped and bonus points were big tv and refrigerator in the room.

I want to give this hotel a higher rating but I simply can't. The decor of the room is beautiful. The staff was pleasant. My chief complaint is the sound of the a/c unit throughout the night. Everytime the a/c comes on the unit is so loud that sleep is continuously disrupted through the night. There was also another noise that we could not pinpoint. It sounded like some construction of some sort. The valet asked how our stay was and we said the a/c unit prevented us from having a rested night. He told us the building is old and they are working to upgrade everything including the a/c units.

My wife and I stay here multiple times a year! Best staff, best rooms, best AC! Have stayed at multiple other top hotels in the area and have always dealt with headaches of some-sort with staff, room issues… then a terrible lack of response or customer service. At The Admiral, Meredith and Chris will always make sure anything and everything during your stay is perfect! 2 block walk to some of the best food I’ve ever had too!

The front desk person I spoke to named Alec was so kind and accommodating. Amazing customer service and disposition.The rooms are very dirty. The hotel is very dirty. The floor I was on smelled of dog poop. There were literal poop and pee stains from dogs all over the floor. The rooms have stains all over the furniture and the carpets. The bathrooms have mold.

Chris at the front desk is Amazing. Very kind and accommodating to our unique schedule and request. He was extremely polite and honest with us. Talent like Chris adds value to this hotel. We would be very happy to stay here again in the future.Rooms: 5/5
