And I have always tipped a minimum of 20%. This is the first time I have ever left a 10% tip and that was generous for this waitress. No smiles left condiments off and did not return for drink refills until near the end of the meal. Acted like she did not want to be there. Now the good part. My wife had the salmon and it was delicious. The grean beans were spot on and she substituted mashed potatoes for the rice and again spot on. Kibee was some of the best I have had in the US. French fries were awesome. The poboy was ok..but i should not have ordered a poboy at a mediteranian restaurant. Over all It was a decent experience just need a few small fixes and a better trained wait staff.
Try the Lamb Chops and Mash... you'll walk out smiling ?
1st time eating here, will be last. I ordered the Alfredo with noodles, the Alfredo was thick and noodles were gummy. My husband ordered the steak, rice and green beans, said the rice was really good, steak needed a lot of improvement!
Amazing experience Isaac is an amazing server great attention to
I hadn't been to Ollies in years. Decided to go in for a sit down meal. Ordered the hummus, vegetarian sandwich with falafel on side and sweet tea. My cousin order the shrimp poboy and sweet tea. Both came with French fries. The fries were loaded with salt but hot. The hummus was so bland I had to add seasoning to give it something and that did not help much but it was better than it originally was serve. The bread was hot but considering it looked like stone fire bread it definitely did not taste like stone fire bread. The vegetarian sandwich was not good. I took one bite and left it. The falafel was too think, they soaked the mix too long and pressed them together. Taste like they added flour or something to the mix to stretch the falafel mix and then deep fried them way too long. The shrimp poboy, according to my cousin was bland, no seasoning. To say I live in the New Orleans area, they should definitely remove that from the menu. The sweet tea was extremely sweet but the second glass was watered down. The manager did visit the table but it didn't change much. The bartender was apparently having a bad day because her attitude was not very pleasant considering she is the 1st person I should have been treated by but she pretended she didn't see me so I had to address her. I sent my $16 sandwich back that I took one small bite out of and they only removed $4. My bill came out to be $50.13 and they added $2 because I paid with a debit card. I will definitely NOT be returning!
