This place is iconic to say the least. It recalls nostalgic feelings that for me, goes back 40 years.
Loved the DDI! I had read about this oldest restaurant in Mobile have wanted to try it. We opted for the daily special, the hamburger steak with gravy. He had Mac cheese turnip greens, I had lima beans mashed potatoes. All delish! We couldn't eat it all! We will be back next time to try the famous hot dogs!
Great story of this place. The onion rings are so delicious.
Had the Ole fashion hot dogs and they were good with the onion rings and fries mixed came out pretty good.
