This delightful little gem run by Miss Gwen is a must-visit! The comfort food is delicious and comes at a fantastic price. You have to try her moist, non-greasy fried chicken—it's amazing! I can’t wait to return!

Ms. Gwen's Buffet was absolutely fantastic! We drove an hour to visit after hearing so many great reviews, and it did not disappoint. It's a small, unpretentious place, but the food is incredible—everything is homemade and delicious. Be sure to check it out for lunch. Ms. Gwen is incredibly sweet as well!

This is a wonderful spot if you're in search of a cozy country buffet in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The owner, Ms. Gwen, is incredibly inviting—you'll likely find yourself giving her a hug during your first visit, and it certainly won't be your last! They offer a fixed menu, and I must say that my favorites are the pork chops on Thursdays and the Sunday offerings. The chops are enormous, as are the ribs, and both are delicious. Every day, they serve fried chicken, which my friends have unanimously declared as the best they've ever tasted. And be sure to leave some space for the banana pudding; you might want to grab some right away, as it tends to disappear quickly!

Food is ALWAYS great and Ms. Gwen is the BEST little hostess EVER!!! She makes everyone feel welcome and at home with a hug, a smile and many kind words for all her customers! I go a couple of times a week!!!

A Perfect Slice of Home I really enjoyed this. I'm not from Alabama, but I highly recommend it to anyone. I stopped on my way out of town and Gwen was nothing but kind. She was completely hospitable, asking me every step of the way about the food. She even put my drink in a to-go cup without asking. I was there around closing, yet she still asked if I wanted anything before putting it away. I don't normally eat salad but the bacon bits, eggs, tomatoes and salad dressing made it very good.
