Woodys Tavern Moab Utah

In Woodys Tavern we discover Cutthroat Ale and Polygamy Porter, two excellent local beers. Woody’s is classified as a diving bar, but in the middle of the week with the late afternoon sun that shines through the wide windows, it looked more like a family restaurant that is decorated to look like a diving bar. The only staff is an overworked bartender. It is pleasant, but not excessively friendly as it serves us some delicious hot wings and some not so special nachos. We do not doubt that this place will live well after the sun sets.

We stopped every afternoon after the trails during Easter Jeep Safari. Played a few pools, had a few beers (the were ICE EFFING COLD!!! and put some money in the guard. Will it be better? Tap the selection might be better, but it's not enough to drop it a star.

I had a great time, but it was a short visit to the bartender who made our drinks an amazing work. All drinks we had tasted, some of the best we had!! They call themselves a dive bar and I could see why when we walked in and were the only ones. Was treat amazing by Dylan the bartender. Great time!
