The Branding Iron - Moab

Great sweet Tea. It wasn't too busy at 1:30 since it's outside of the main area. Food was good. We got burgers and chicken strips. No outside seating. It would be the perfect spot to over looks the canyons.

Susie’s Branding Iron is an excellent choice for a meal. They offer delicious comfort food and the service is fantastic. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. I tried the open-faced chili burger, while my wife had the ribs, which were juicy and flavorful, practically falling off the bone. And let me tell you, the chicken-fried steak was absolutely perfect!

We returned another day for takeout when the line at Wendy's was stretching out onto Main Street. Susie's took our phone order and had it ready in under ten minutes. Every burger here is either 1/3 or 1/2 pound, and the portions for other items, like the salads, are quite generous as well. Overall, a great experience!

Lesley, our server, was incredibly efficient. She quickly took our orders and started bringing out the food as it was prepared. My husband received his freshly made salad within minutes, which was so good that he even let me finish it off, including the beets and cucumbers he usually avoids—he really doesn’t know what he's missing! For his main course, he ordered the country fried steak, served with corn and mashed potatoes topped with white gravy. I chose the Lady Burger without cheese or fries, substituting coleslaw instead. About 15 minutes later, our meals arrived, and everything was delicious. The coleslaw was creamy and slightly sweet, exactly how I like it. The six-ounce burger was perfectly cooked to medium, just the way I enjoy it. All in all, we had a lovely evening filled with great food and outstanding service!

We really liked eating at Susie?s. The service, Vinny was good and responsive. The food was good and prepared to order. (No thousand island on that Rueben. Ranch, please! . My wife loved her French dip too. The deep fried mushrooms were great. Not overcooked and nice and hot! The only down side was the frozen banana cream pie. Wait, what? Frozen? Gotta fix that!
