Hungry Dog - Mitchell

If they make a stop in the corn palace or just stop by Mitchell, they should stop here. they are not too far from the interstate, so it is worth it when they are on a road along the I-90. the mac n cheese and cheese curds were surprisingly excellent. the cheese curds have seasoned. they were sharp outside and creamy inside. the mac n cheese on the dog was creamy and fresh. these are not just simple hot dogs. they offer a lot of hot dogs and burgers. I was pretty impressed. they have a large seating area in the open and seating area in the interior. our food was ready quickly, and I'm glad we stopped it.

I had bought the texas tangler burger and the fried pickel with ranch. holy deliciousness. the burger himself was good, but the beats are what made it the next level. the cajun mayo loved. friendly staff. must definitely be the next time I travel through Mitchell and try more menu points.

We are on holiday and have stopped to see the corn palace in mitchell south dakota. we were hungry and decided that hot dogs sound good, but wait. the homemade wobble rings were the bomb! yum! yum P.S there are many other items on the menu next to hot dogs and I had the very tasty huhn sandwich.

This place is a treasure. It was some of the best food we have eaten on our road trip, and the best hotdog I have ever had. Everyone was very pleased.

Passing through Mitchell on the way to Glacier National we stopped for gas. It was lunchtime so I searched up something local and found hungry dog. I made a good decision. Their menu is full of options mostly hot dogs and hamburgers. My son and i decided since it was called hungry dog we probably should have a hot dog. after nearly getting a chili dog my son decided to order the hungry dog, with fries. i got the Chicago, with a large chocolate milkshake. The hotdogs did not disappoint. The hungry dog was enormous, so big in fact he had to eat it with a fork. the fries were hot and crispy. My Chicago was as expected, grilled too perfection and topped beautifully. The chocolate shake was a good, creamy and rich. If we're through Mitchell again in the future we will stop back by. Highly recommended.
