In my younger years, my first job was as a pizza delivery driver for a now-defunct Adelaide chain, and let me tell you, the pizzas were far from great. However, they did contribute to my gaining 20 kg in just two years and even earned me a good behavior bond for my driving, so there were some upsides. While the pizzas weren’t impressive, I found that with a few tweaks to the recipes, you could create a somewhat decent option. My personal favorite was the double-layered thin and crispy pizza, featuring a layer of melted cheese between the two bases. As for Biella’s pizzas, they typically avoid the sogginess trap, and the flavors are quite enjoyable. They may not be homemade quality, where you can choose the finest ingredients from the Central Markets, but they’re certainly satisfactory. The issue is that I’ve been exploring various pizza places within a 10km radius, and after my experience at Biella last night, I'm beginning to question why I bother. I opted for the Mexican pizza, which came topped with ham, pepperoni, capsicum, onion, marinated tomatoes, garlic, and jalapeños. It had a good amount of spice, and the pepperoni was flavorful (unlike some that can be quite bland). Overall, it was a delightful meal. I do have to note that the garlic bread was the typical prepackaged offering from a large distributor, which isn’t ideal, but the pizza itself was certainly a standout. I can't quite understand why I insist on trying other places when Biella is my closest option and probably should be my go-to. While I can’t promise that I’ll remain loyal to Biella, I’ll certainly make an effort to do so in the future.

The menu offers a huge selection, and the restaurant itself is very clean, which is a refreshing change from many pizza places. I highly recommend the 'Euro' pizza!
