Visited this restaurant for the first time with high expectations because it came recommended. The only staff member we encountered was the young lady at the counter. Although pleasant she was extremely quiet where you could barely hear her speaking. I ordered Jerk Chicken, Jolof Rice, Cabbage and Plantains. Wah Gwan! Jamaican Nigerian restaurant. Woooo chile!!! They make the very BEST jollof rice I have had in Kansas City thus far! Located at 6228 Troost. The decor is Caribbean. A warm friendly place. I had the curry chicken.. nice.. spicy (just a little). It came with peas and rice and cabbage. The restaurant was very clean. Soft Caribbean music play and music videos. The portions was a nice side. (My lady wanted some more after I let her taste it and then walked away with the rest of my meal.. Smh).. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

We enjoyed our experience and ate every last morsel of food. It was wonderful.
