Mission Taco Joint — Streets Of St. Charles

The service and atmosphere were excellent. The tacos weee good but not great. And the street corn off the cob just felt like it was missing flavor.

Good tacos and drinks just wish the duck tacos were not taken of the menu

Stopped in for lunch today. Ordered an appetizer as an entree’….the Chicken Flautas. (See photo) Inside mixture of chicken is perhaps a bit dry, but has good favor nonetheless. Dipping it in the sour cream and cheese that was drizzled over the entire entree added some moisture back in. Chips and salsa comes on a tray of chips with two bowls of salsa. 1 is mild salsa and the other has a bit of heat to it. Thankfully, I didn’t find the latter extremely hot at all. From a number of people and resources I've heard how great Mission Taco Joint was with their food and atmosphere, Mission Taco definitely lived up to those high accolades. The tacos and burritos were amazing. The service was great. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. I plan on visiting Mission Taco many times over.

The food was mediocre at best. The churros were burnt tasting…definitely over done. The Baja Fish tacos are bland. The pickled onions really don't blend with the pork tacos. The salsa is smoky and good but the rest was definitely not enough for us to go again. Waiter was great! Host does a terrible job. You can tell she isn't thrilled to be there.
