Miss Sheri's Cafeteria - Missouri

Miss Sheri’s Cafeteria is wonderful! Cafeterias are almost non existent now, and to have a cafeteria that serves such outstanding, home cooked food is such a fantastic gift. Other than Golden Corral and Asian, I don’t really know if any other Cafeteria. What a jewel….

Let me start by saying the food is always excellent at Miss Cheri’s restaurant. However on my recent visit I decided to get a piece of chocolate pie. After taking one bite I did not think it tasted very well. It was bitter. At that point I proceeded to take it back and asked if I could exchange it for something else. The breaded cod was so over cooked, the breading came off and fish was all dried out. When I called, the morning manager said sorry for your experience and hung up on me. The young girl casher overcharged me for too many salads. They have very poor manners in customer service. I used to like it but it's so different now. I'll never go back there again.

The food was good. But it was nothing to write home about. It was a wide selection of but it was a little pricey for what we got almost home cooking but not quite I'd go back again, maybe.

My great grandma introduced me to this place the whole reason we came was for the home made pie. The elderly definitely gate keep this place lol but that’s okay! I can see why. My mother had the fried fish it was so good!! I tried the chicken dumplings, the chicken was so moist delicious, the dumplings not so much. But they have TONS of options.
