Great Plains Cattle Company - Missouri

Met my parents there on a thurs night to celebrate my 60th b day. First thing I noticed was the ambiance…the hostess sat us next to one of the multiple fireplaces. Gorgeous and the architecture was lodge like. Confortable, big leather booth seating. We ordered crab cakes for appetizers and I had a KC strip with baker. OM Gosh folks…best steak I've had ever…maybe, but 5 star for sure! And our server was perfectly attentive and polite…took great care of us. I'm going back soon! Thank you … – show

Very high quality food and service. The ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the truffle mushrooms were fantastic. They have a nice wine and beer selection. Our waiter was always attentive and worked to split our check with a big group. It’s definitely expensive but it’s a nice treat. Make a reservation if you have a bigger group.

First off… The food was cooked to absolute perfection! Second… The service was absolutely phenomenal. Christina was on top of everything, extremely attentive, and very accommodating. Please grace yourself to a steak dinner, because it was fantastic. Wish me luck… Bout to go gamble

I was so disappointed for a “cattle” restaurant to lack flavor on prime rib!! The au jus was so watered down and I didn’t even attempt the horseradish sauce. Also ordered the Apple pork chops and they were dry and lacked flavor. The best thing was the waiter, my sangria, and the garlic mashed potatoes!! Will never eat there again! Too over priced for what they are serving. I looked around at multiple tables and saw lots of food on their plates as well!

Awesome mail in great value. The service was excellent and her commentary made dinner and better.
