Golden Ox - Missouri

Atmosphere was great, service was good. Food was luke warm where I like mine hot. We were a big party so maybe that's why but for the price I expect hot food regardless. I would give it another shot.

We wanted to like this place so much more than we did. The ambiance and service was excellent. Our server Craig was above and beyond. The crab appetizer was amazing, as was the “famous” baked potato. The shrimp cocktail was meh, the spinach was tasty but runny. And the steaks, both to be medium rare — my filet was tough and dry and my husbands ribeye was over cooked.

My grandmother, father and I had a lovely time with amazing food and service.

This is a CLASSIC steakhouse. The service, food and decor are fantastic!

Excellent service, excellent food, but comically overpriced. Steaks, one glass of wine and two beers cost me $263 for two people. The steak was certainly delicious, but really, so many are. Nothing special here at all to justify the nose-bleed high price. I could have had this same dinner with equal or better quality at any number of steak houses, like Roadhouse, Longhorn even Outback.
