With the help of our waitress, we enjoyed a lovely meal. We shared a dinner item, which was more than enough for us. When it was time to settle the bill, I commented on how busy the area was, mentioning that it must be due to Veterans Day, as many people were out and about. The waitress asked if I was a veteran, to which I replied yes. To my surprise, she informed us that they were comping our meal for the day. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and as someone who is retired and on a fixed income, it was greatly appreciated. Thank you!
One major issue is that the new location isn't well-insulated. We were seated near the entrance, and a cold draft kept blowing in, which was quite uncomfortable. Our server was prompt and friendly at first, but then disappeared when we needed a to-go box and the check. We ultimately had to ask another server for assistance.
As always delicious, tasty food. I had the Shrimp Noodles in peanut sauce. Lots of it. I couldn’t eat quite all of it although I tried. Shiela, our server, was friendly, fun and professional. I had to have things left out in my dish and my request washonored. Th only restaurant that has done that consistently. They were busy so we sat at the bar and enjoyed the vibe. Theydidn’t have the wine I like so she gave me a taste of what they had. Appreciate her doing that because I didn’t like it andwould have not liked buying a glass of it. I love their new checks (new to me) so that I could scan and pay without my wallet. One of my favorite places in Missoula for dine-in and takeout. I’ve never been disappointed with service or the food.
DISAPPOINTING. I was taken aback by the positive reviews. The sweet and sour sauce was nothing like what sweet and sour sauce is supposed to taste like. I had to scrape it off just to enjoy my meal, which was so pricey that I couldn't bear to leave it uneaten! I give it 2 stars for the ambiance. Save your time and money!
My wife and I ate first at Senf Seed on the river 33 years ago. Today we were shopping and wanted to eat. We found the new restaurant location and with the help of our waitress we had a nice lunch. We share a dinner and it was a lot for us. When it was time to pay, I mentioned how busy it was everywhere. I said it must be people's day slots for Veterans. The waitress asked if I was a veteran. I said yes. She said today we cook your meals. What a surprise and such a beautiful gesture. In retirement and on a fixed income it was very appreciated! Thank you.
