Mackenzie River Pizza Co. - Missoula

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The service was fantastic, and there were plenty of menu options, all prepared with high-quality ingredients. Plus, they offer beer! I'm definitely looking forward to returning.

I'm not sure if this location is poorly managed because it’s staffed by college students, but we've usually had good experiences with MacKenzie River. However, today marks the third time I've ordered pizza and they've forgotten an important sauce. This time, I ordered the $17 special, which was missing the sage-infused honey—kind of the whole point of ordering that pizza, right? We've had issues before where a staff member argued with my husband about our order because they spelled his name wrong on the box. The quality of the pizza here is noticeably lower than at other locations; for example, I could barely taste the peanut sauce on the Thai Pie. To top it off, the staff often act like it's a huge burden to assist you. Today, I wasn’t even greeted when I picked up my order—some twenty-something looked me in the eye and yelled "Counter!" before turning away. It's really disappointing to pay a premium for subpar MacKenzie River pizza and then feel treated like a nuisance. I recommend avoiding this spot and heading to the other location in Missoula instead.

We're vegan, and the pizza was amazing! However, the highlight of our visit was the server. They were the best we've encountered in Missoula—fun, friendly, and extremely helpful.

Hands down the best pizza ???? in Montana. Their Good o 'l boy pepperoni pizza is without a rival. Coming in second is the Rancher which will leave you begging for more... stomach room! Prices are worth the little extra for the quality ingredients.Don 't miss out on this Montana/pizza experience!

Amazing pizzas, some of the best I 've ever had and best I can find in Missoula. Mackenzie River has a wide variety of options along with a vegetarian option or two. The pepperoni pizza they have there is just so over the top and I love it. The sequoiahas pine nuts and artichoke, which I think truly tells people Hey! We 're different than other pizza places here! Every timeI 've gone I 've loved it. The strawberry lemonade is fantastic and the waiters and waitresses are always polite.
