Kobe Seafood Steak House - Missoula

We visited the restaurant around 3 PM on a Thursday, and it was quite empty. The service was excellent, the waiter was very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. If I could give the food 10 stars, I would—it was truly amazing! Both the sushi and steak options were outstanding. Overall, I rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!

The first time we entered this restaurant, we ended up leaving due to poor service and an unpleasant odor, which I believe was coming from the bathrooms. However, we decided to give it another chance, and I'm glad we did. The food is outstanding, and the sushi is fantastic, offering much better value compared to some other local establishments. My main concern remains the service; it can be excellent at times, while other times it's lacking. Some staff members really need to familiarize themselves with the menu and improve their customer service skills, especially in the sit-down dining area, as opposed to the hibachi section.

Avoid this restaurant. We waited for 30 minutes and were assured we would get a table, but after sitting at the bar, nobody came to serve us. We should have realized it wouldn’t be a good experience. We saw the hostess seat a group that arrived after us, and when we finally asked for a table, she offered us one without a chef available. She initially said it would be just a 10-minute wait, but then admitted it would be much longer since the cook hadn’t even arrived yet. The place felt unclean, was overly bright, and felt extremely overpriced. When I expressed my disappointment, the hostess waved me off and said, "don’t come back."

I had the worst experience here.First our server gives us salads with the wrong dressing. Takes down our teppan order incorrectly, so the chef is cooking our meal wrong. They never refill our water glasses, the whole time. They dont have any helpers clearing dirty plates. She never brings me my fork. I literally had to go up to her to cash my ticket. And get my water filled. The show was okay. The chef was not audible and not very enthusiastic. The veggies were undercooked. The rice was burnt. The meat was not seasoned well. I was very upset with my experience here. Also one of the other chefs is like inappropriately touching, grabbing, hugging, standing behind children at all of his shows. I've been here multiple times while he is out doing a cooking show. I would watch out for him, he gives molester/pedaphile feeling. (All the other chefs seem professional) but I would not want him interacting/touching my child.

This restaurant was very fun to eat at. The cook we had was very funny and I am happy I came. The food was delicious and the people who weren't serving us were very kind to other customers. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves funny things and delectable food made in front of you! You have to try this restaurant at least once in your life.
