The restaurant was alright. I was disappointed to find that most of the items on the menu were frozen, including the burgers. However, I was impressed with the excellent service and the spacious interior of the bar. The pints were also good.
A neighborhood staple in Port credit. I love seeing a long-time business. My family and I visit several times a year. Sometime 's the food can take some time to come especially if they are busy or you have a big group. I don 't mind though because it gives me time to have conversations with the people I am with. Just be warned this is not a fast food joint of that is what you are looking for.The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. Recommend the wings (ask for the bar menu) and any of their Irish menu items are great. Toffee pudding is my favourite here. The place just has an overall warm and welcoming atmosphere.Parking: There are maybe 10 spots just north of the restaurant in a small lot. You can go to side streets for more parking options.
Best French onion soup on the Port Credit strip! So delicious! I always get it. Very generous portion of the bruschetta flatbread. One of the best goat cheese and beet salads I have ever had. The honey mustard vinegarette compliments the salad perfectly. Steak and mushroom pie is also a must try! :
Had a pretty solid outing here for a couple friends' birthdays. The food was decent. We pretty well ordered 1 of every app and they were meh. For mains, the steak sandwich was average at best. The wings were okay. Fish and chips were pretty good.Service was great though. There were probably 15 of us and it was handled very well. I'd recommend this place for a solid pub sports night with brews, but it's not ideal for a meal.
