Lazar Famous Deli Bakery - Mississauga

This incredible bakery is situated in the heart of Mississauga and specializes in Portuguese and Italian pastries. It boasts the largest deli in the city, offering hot-table meals and freshly baked bread every day, along with excellent coffee that transports you straight to Europe.

The espresso was excellent, and the pastries had just the right amount of sweetness (I forgot to take a photo). The service was very pleasant as well. They even bring your drink to the patio if you mention that you're sitting outside!

I recently discovered this amazing bakery. After returning from Lisbon, I was hoping to find tarts similar to the ones we enjoyed there. By chance, we stumbled upon this fantastic place! The tarts and bread are truly authentic! This is definitely going to be a regular stop for us. I also love the patio, and our little pup is thrilled to be welcomed here!

The pastries and bread here are fresh and delicious. The olive baguette and pecan Danish were particularly outstanding!

I was thoroughly impressed with Lazar Bakery, from the initial phone call all the way to when we received our cake. Every interaction was delightful, and they took the time to answer all of my questions clearly. The woman who took my order was incredibly meticulous, carefully noting all my design requests, drawing diagrams, and labeling them to ensure the decorator had a clear vision of what we wanted. The cake turned out even better than I had envisioned. Any minor flaws on the cake (like the extra flower next to the writing) were the result of a little mishap in the car. My only suggestion would be to use an adhesive to secure the plate to the box to minimize movement during transport. The taste was just as amazing as the appearance, and I can't wait to order from them again!
