La Carnita - Mississauga

Yummy! The best short ribs and tacos in Mississauga!!!The honey sweetness, hint of red chili heat and onions are the basis of the ribs sauce.This starter is Always good to share with two to four people.Note:I have been here three times now and if you are looking for a quiet lunch… the music is VERY loud.You have been warned.

The decor is fantastic. I really enjoyed the tacos, but I found the prices to be quite unreasonable—$8.50 for a single taco is excessive. Our server was a bit slow to assist us, but the food came out surprisingly quickly. The Carne Asada was my favorite, and the Al Pastor was quite good too. However, I found the Mexican Chorizo to be average, as I wasn't fond of its texture. The cod and pollo fritto also deserve a mention.

I had the best service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. I apologize for forgetting the server's name, but she had blonde hair. She was outstanding, recommending drinks and being extremely polite and pleasant. The food was incredible, and I will definitely return!

It's a cozy little place with great vibes. The carnita margarita is excellent. I started with the queso fundido with chorizo, and it was also delicious. The pork belly al pastor taco was fantastic—full of flavor. The carne asada tostada was decent, but I would definitely prefer the pork belly taco over it. The service here is also very efficient. I'll definitely be returning!

If I could give 10 stars for the service, I would, thanks to our host, Matthew! The food was excellent; we ordered the Queso Fundido, and the drinks, tres leches cake, and churros were complimentary. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be back! :D
