L.A. Boil Seafood - Mississauga

From the moment we entered the front door there was no greeting by any staff. I actually thought I was invisible for a few moments and the place was empty. Once seated we were handed an iPad and told nothing at all about how to order or about the menu. I must admit our drink was bought promptly which is good but again the waiter had zero customer service skills. The food was ok and it also was hot and fast. The other thing that I'll say is that we tried the all you can eat and unfortunately lost my appetite because I wasn't feeling well. So I asked if we could take home the rest of our first round. The waiter was very strong in enforcing the policy of no take home of left overs. I offered to pay and was charged $8 to bring home about 10 shrimp. Seriously I think considering the amount we ate they could have been more understanding. I give them a weak 2 out of 5

It was pretty bad actually, we found a piece of broken fake nail in our soup we ordered. The plastic gloves they distributed didn't seem very clean either. We could smell latex from it

Ok a year later going back, I can see that it is busier, you really better book, the food quality is still good, so it is consistent, little bit more expensive almost 20% more than last year, now they have salad bar, which is ok, and would have been perfect had they kept it stocked, but they are slow in doing that, all in all still very good place for seafood.Good Luck.

I am a seafood lover and I enjoyed this place. the Free salad is a plus. Casual dining. First was with friends and 2nd time- just my hubby. It is quite messy when eating but that is the fun of it. Food is tasty and it is very filling. Décor was good. This location is better and bigger than the other dundas location. Staff in both location were helpful. I recommend.
