George's Greek Grill - Mississauga

We were coming into Toronto from Buffalo for the first night of Passover with family. We knew we had to have lunch prior to the evening, so we decided to give George's a try. I called the restaurant to let him know we were coming and to find out the hours (saw his establishment on Facebook). For lunch, we had the grilled chicken wraps and I will tell you they were excellent. We also had a side sample of lamb and Baklava for dessert. Lamb was so tender that it literally melted in your mouth. The Baklava was sweet but it was sooo good! By the time we left, we were good for quite a while. I hope everyone within driving a distance makes the effort to come and try George's. He's friendly, personable and his food is excellent. He's basically a takeout establishment but for travelers like us, he also has four tables available.

Incredible! The owners are amazing and the food is fresh! I recently visited this restaurant and ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner, which was incredibly impressive. The portion size was generous and definitely worth the price. This place truly deserves a 5-star rating not only for their friendly service but also for their delicious food. A great food business knows how to entice customers with exceptional dishes, and I was blown away by their irresistible butternut squash soup. I will absolutely be returning and will highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

This is by far the best Greek food I’ve ever had outside of Greece! This is very obviously a labour of love for George, because his food is absolutely amazing, and it’s really nice to see how proud the team is of the quality of their food. The three of us had the chicken souvlaki dinners and substituted Wow fries for the roast potatoes. First, the fries are appropriately named, as there’s no better way to describe them. Second, you won’t go hungry because there’s a lot of food in each order. The chicken is really tasty, the salad is excellent (and I liked that they put their homemade dressing in a small container on the side so that your salad won’t get soggy while you drive home), the rice is great, and the tzatziki is perfectly zingy with garlic. While we waited, because it was our first time here we were treated to a sample of each of their two homemade soups butternut squash, and a lemon chicken and rice soup. Both were so good that I ordered one for tomorrow’s lunch at the office. They’ve only been open for 11 months, and they’re already winning tons of praise. I went because of the outstanding reviews on Facebook and Google (the highest score of ALL restaurants in the GTA). I’ll go back because those reviews were right.

We heard great things about George's Greek Grill and after reading the amazing reviews, we decided to head out there for dinner. The food was fantastic! The Greek salad was delicious, so fresh and topped with a generous serving of feta and delicious dressing. Next came the Wow fries. All I can say is WOW!!. The sauce and feta covering the fries made this dish totally addictive. We also ordered the beef/lamb gyro in the pita wrap which was very tasty and loaded with tons of tender pieces of meat. The portions are very generous and food is prepared with great care. We loved our meal! George, we will definitely be back soon!
