This restaurant is a typical pub with a large bar, seating area, and TVs. There is also a separate dining area for those looking for a quieter experience away from the bar and sports. The menu offers a variety of Irish styles, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. The service is attentive and quick, making it a great spot for a quick meal or drinks. I recommend trying the "Hills o' Chips" starter with Newfoundland Dressing Gravy - it's worth the extra $3.
Was just there for a pint with a friend. Friendly service, place wasn't super busy. Watch out for the Mississauga parking weasels who are circling around trying to ticket cars.
We were here 5 years ago and gave Cuchulainn’s a 4 star rating and a title ‘First Visit – Will Return. We returned 2 years ago and the title was ‘Gone Down Hill – Pity!’. We didn’t intend to return but there aren’t many sit...down restaurants in Streetsville that are suitable for 4 grandchildren for lunch. First the Good: the service was top notch. Then the food: The chicken fingers and fries for the children were okay. In fact the fries were quite good. We had garlic bread which is listed as ‘smothered with garlic butter’. Not much taste of garlic and the add-on $2] cheese had the unpleasant texture and taste of processed American cheese. We ordered ‘Dippins’, Spinach and Goat Cheese Dip with Flat Bread and dipping vegetables. The flat brad had been heated to the point where it was hard. The dip, which may have come from a large jar, was mostly tasteless and gluelike. This place is probably okay for sitting with friends, drinking and nibbling if your focus is not on the food. But don’t go for good Irish pub food.
Lots of variety on the menu so something for everyone. It was a Sunday night and not busy, but our server kept forgetting about us. The food was ok the Guinness stew was disappointing and came with two very thin slices of bread. It...took 2 requests to get some more. I was surprised that even though we spent about $100, they still charged us $3 for our 2 additional very thin half slices of bread.
