Brasas Latin Food - Mississauga

Did an uber eats here and the food looked really good, So dropped by after work.Never tried authentic latin food, ordered some empanadas and they were delicious, love the spicy sauce!will have to come back and try the breakfast and rest of the menu items.

The food was delicious! It’s was a good price for a huge quantity! You can tell it’s made with care and not just sloppily! I recommend this because this is one of the best Colombian restaurants I’ve come to! If you’re looking for real Spanish food this is the place!

Oh my goodness, the food at this restaurant is absolutely incredible! Even a day later, I find myself still dreaming about the menu. If you're in the mood for comforting dishes with generous portions and friendly service, you must not miss this place! We ordered the bandeja paisa and lengua a la criolla, both of which were simply divine. The bandeja paisa is hearty and filling, packed with protein! If you're feeling adventurous, definitely try the lengua a la criolla; it's incredibly flavorful and so tender. It's served with the most delicious potato—honestly, I'm not sure what they did to it, but I loved it so much that it was the last thing I finished on my plate! If you're dining with someone, I highly recommend ordering both dishes to share. They did forget the avocado with our bandeja paisa and offered to bring it to us after the meal, but we were so full that we declined. The staff are lovely, and the food is beautiful. We will definitely be back! Update (March 26, 2021): THIS PLACE IS JUST AS AMAZING AS LAST TIME!! I'm absolutely in love with it! And don't forget to try the empanadas if you can!

What impressed me the most was the attentiveness and service from our server. I have allergies to both dairy and gluten, which can make dining out challenging. However, he helped me navigate the menu by advising me on what to avoid and which dishes could be modified (like leaving off the cheese). We live nearby, but we'll definitely consider ordering delivery for those nights when we prefer to stay in. Dietary restrictions: They offer plenty of options and make an effort to accommodate whenever possible.

I had the jalea peruana and it was absolutely delicious, while my boyfriend ordered the bandeja paisa. The plantains were cooked to perfection, and the seafood was perfectly done as well. I will definitely be returning!
