We decided to give the food a try, but it was a letdown. The dish had an excessive amount of onions, was very dry, overly spicy, and lacked flavor. This visit was our first and last time at this restaurant.
I tried the Masala Dosa with my family and it was delicious. The restaurant is halal as well, so I would recommend it to the Muslim community. Overall, it's a fantastic representation of South Indian culture.
My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch on Saturday. It is a cozy spot with a few tables, but it seems that most customers opt for takeout. We tried the mutton kottu and mutton biryani. The kottu was tasty, but I wasn't a big fan of the biryani. The portions were generous and well-priced. We also ordered string hoppers and chicken curry to go. The portion size was impressive, with 25 string hoppers for only $3 – a great deal compared to what we typically find in the US. The meal came with yellow curry gravy and coconut sambol, and was enough to serve two people. We would consider ordering takeout from this restaurant again if it was closer to our location.
