The Ocea Bar - MISSION BEACH

We received excellent and friendly service from the bar staff. We ordered the grilled barramundi with chips and salad, and the fish was incredibly juicy and flavorful, while the chips were fresh and crispy. The wine list offered a variety of quality wines at affordable prices. The restaurant had a fun pirate theme and fans to keep us cool.

An amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. We had great service the entire time from when we arrived as it opened. The bartender was a great laugh the entire time, best captain jack sparrow impression you will ever hear. We ordered the meat for two, and oh my GOD. When it came out and very quickly from ordering it, presentation was immaculate, staked to the roof with smoked meat and chips and salads. It was smoked to perfections, everything fell off the bone and had an amazing flavour, the home made fries were to die for, accompanied by the in house made dressing for the coleslaw made it an amazing meal in every aspect. The whole place is a reason in itself to return to mission beach.

The Pirate Den exceeded all of our expectations, and we will definitely make the trip back to Mission Beach just to dine here again. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The prices were also very reasonable. The exceptional service from the friendly staff made us feel welcome and pampered. The atmosphere and vibe added to the already amazing experience. Even our dog was welcomed warmly. We want to thank all the staff for making our evening so memorable. If I could, I would give more than 5 stars.

Been here several times in the last few nights on our holiday and I 've seen several faces repeatedly, and I know why!! These guys are nailing it every dish. You definitely need to book because they are so busy, but the food is amazing and definitely worth the wait. As their menu says ' They don 't do fast food, they do great food as fast as they can ' We will definitely be back next visit to mission beach.

My partner and I really loved this restaurant. We dined here three times during our week-long stay. The seafood was incredibly fresh, especially the oysters which tasted like they had just been caught that day. The salmon and barramundi were also delightful. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our overall experience in Mission Beach was so positive that we have decided to move up north, thanks to the super nice and friendly people we encountered.
