Fish Bar - MISSION BEACH

We order 4 pieces of crumbed Barramundi - also known as Asian sea bass to take away. We received 8 long easily held pieces plus wedges of lemon in a box that was wrapped with white paper. "Barra" is Nth Queenslands most tasty fish and we ate the lot. Yes, it was being greedy so next time we ordered 3 pieces and got 6. It's great little shop with staff that are delightful to deal with. You can eat semi-outdoors at their table or benches - but seafood is best eaten sitting with a beach view!

This place no longer exists ..it is now called Ocea bar ...it has been under a new name and management for almost a year

Fish and chips was great light a fluffy flakes of white fish and chips out of this world had peas and all the family enjoyed there day out

We kept coming back to this restaurant in Mission Beach thanks to the wonderful waitress, Leia. She was always smiling and happy, providing a nice change from some of the other restaurants we had tried. The location is great, and it's a perfect spot to relax day or night. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place to everyone and would return in a heartbeat for the great food and atmosphere!

I had to go back inside and wait in line to ask for 2 plates to serve our lunch on, one of which was chipped and dirty. I had to clean the plate with my napkin using the table water. Additionally, there was no bowl to wash our hands after shelling and cleaning the prawns. Overall, we left feeling unsatisfied and hungry. We do not plan on returning anytime soon.
