La Choza Restaurant-Bar - MISMALOYA

This spot was referred to us by a local and the food was good. Then we got our bill. $185 for 2 people. We had Red Snapper, Shrimp and Steak shishkabobs plus some Tequila shots. They bring you tequila shots to your table and then charge you $10 per shot. Waiter drove us to our hotel to get money out of the ATM like business as usual. Eat at Barcelo and forget this place. Even the hotel was shocked what they charged us. Not worth it.

Been here a lot and drive down from PV. Started coming 15 years ago and NOTHING has changed. 5 Star then and now. They treat you like family when they are meeting you for the first time and its not fake. The FOOD is fresh and amazing and NO I can't pick a favorite! They speak great english in case your Espanol is lacking. The drinks are fresh too! Go see Tony

This was the best restaurant we went to in the week we stayed in mismaloya. We went to many and this was very authentic Mexico with an amazing view. Very well presented and cooked to perfection! Well worth the drive if you are going to mismaloya beach or up to El Eden or the zoo.

Best of the best, a true, old time authentic experience. Great cocktails and better food. A must visit when in town, We highly recommend a visit and it is well worth the drive south. We have been coming to PV for years and always make time for a visit or 3.

Small restaurant off the beaten path. Amazing fresh caught seafood and drinks were also very good... if you are in Mismaloya be sure to check it out!!
