Doc Pierce's - Mishawaka

I've been here for years. for the cheeseburger special I heard from a friend was great. first the place is cool! old time fittings and the like. the burgers came with Steak frits, which I generally don't like, just because nobody cooks them properly. they always come muddy, not cooked enough. not the case here! they were crispy, but fluffy in the middle. kudos at the fry chef! for the burger, the woman and I both cooked it medium, she was mine a hockey puck. I usually don't send back any food if I don't get it right the first time, I don't usually give you a second chance. So I ate it. I wish I had sent it back, all night was with mental problems and dizzyed. my wife had no problems and loved the burger. that's why it's 3 stars. I would still recommend giving them a shot!

The burgers were incredible, as always—cooked to perfection and served hot. The potato skins are undoubtedly some of the best I've ever had. No matter what you order from their diverse menu, you'll be satisfied and full. The service has consistently been excellent over the years, and we truly appreciate that.

I used to be here at special locations in the 70s and 80s. so glad that this clip is still open in the inner city of mishawaka. it is the old school and simple, and this is refreshing in this day and age. the cheeseburgers and steak riders were excellent. the staff was a small key and friendly. we are not fans of chain restaurants and the support of local restaurants is a great thing to do. we come to doc pierce more often.

Haven't been there in probably 5 years. Always got the Ambrosia. Got it this time and it was still delicious, tender and juicy for chicken. Love their rice! Salad did NOT seem fresh, which was a bit disappointing to me. I would not have served it. Their croutons are the best and to be served on lettuce that has turned colors was a bit unappetizing. My date raved about his soup! Said his sirloin steak was very tender. Now about the atmosphere...still the same...quaint and cute, BUT that carpet needs replaced!!! And the bathrooms scream update badly!!!

First time here, very cute restaurant, but very average food. I had a paper thin Porterhouse. It was cooked correctly, but not seasoned or juicy. Very bland. Key is if you need to salt and pepper and use steak sauce. All above are true.
