Miradouro - Miranda Do Douro

The two starters of clams and fish cakes where excellent Main courses arrived before finished starters which seems a common issue chefs driving the service rather than the waiting staff which could be eleviated by a maitre'd to manage things. Main courses large but the salt cod dish and the salt cod salad both lacked seasoning. Tomatoes in salad tasteless. Waiter friendly enough.

Bill came with the price of the bottle wine 50% more than on the menu. check their bill. grilled chickensoso. came with rice and homemade fighting. no sweet. no idea why it was so busy.

The meat was very hard, the fryed frying in old oil and much lärm in restaurant. I choose a certain meat from the menu and when the plate came, it was another meat cut, so they try to fool it. with similar cuts. very disappointed.

Posta and meat in general is pointed notch. excellent eating and incredible meat. price and service friendly but easy

Great restaurant with amazing views over the river and old city. All tables are separated by glass partitions to adapt to the pandemic. Huge portions. Posta a Mirandesa is the ex-libris of this part of the country. Don't miss the delicious red fruit cake.
