Patio De Xisto - Miranda Do Corvo

Fomos almoçar ao Pátio de Xisto. Gostámos muito. Servido em forma de menu, sopa, prato, bebidas, sobremesa e café. Comida típica e tradicional com muito sabor! A ementa varia todos os fins de semana, à excepção da chanfana que é residente! Nós tivemos a sorte de ser contemplados com cozido à portuguesa. Super simples e despretensioso, mas não desilude no registo em que se propõe! Recomendo

O restaurante é acolhedor, sossegado e a comida é ótima, muito bem confeccionada. Excelente para uma refeição romântica, um passeio pela aldeia e pelos trilhos envolta.

Adorei a minha estadia neste local. O quarto muito acolhedor e limpo e a D. Lúcia um encanto de pessoa! Sempre muito simpática e disponível. A comida no restaurante maravilhosa! Um lugar a regressar.

Patio de xisto is the only restaurant in Gondramaz and staying in Mountain Whisper for 3 nights we have opted to stay in on our last night and eat in the village. Because of our laziness we haven 't check reviews, maybe we should have.. We made a reservation and choose a rabbit and a chicken as our meals. Menu costs 13.50 euros and includes soup and a main dish. Food was not tasting that bad but it was very very poor for what you pay for. Clearly they are taking advantage of being the only place there. Soup was not even an entire soup, it was less then a half of bowl. I got 3 pieces of rabbit with a little bit of white rice. I eat a lot and usually in Portugal, I can never eat entire dish. Here, I stayed hungry. There was no other side dish, no veggies, no sauce, just an oven baked rabbit, a bit dyry, and plain white rice! My bf got 1 chicken leg and potatoes soaked in oil. There was no 'entradas ', no olives, bread, anything. Drinks were not included in the menu, we paid 1.59 euros for a mini! At least desert was a decent size and pretty tasty. We ate panna cotta with strawberry topping. All together we paid 34 euros, and went to bed hugngry. The lady, obviously the owner, had a very strange awkward attitude. She would confront people on their wine choices and she was quite noisy. She got a bit offended that I said that rabbit doesn 't have a special flavor and tastes like chicken and then commented and laughed about it with other guests. She would receive a phone call about a reservation and then commented and gossiped about those people with other guests in the restaurant. She was not rude directly to us, but just strange and awkwardly bossy. I am definitely coming back to Gondramaz but not to this restaurant!
