Shan Kishi - MIRAMAR BEACH

As anticipated, my experience was fantastic from start to finish, enjoying all-you-can-eat sushi and Japanese dishes that were delivered fresh and steaming hot to my table. At just over $20 for adults, the price is quite reasonable. Our server, Hannah, was incredibly friendly, prompt, and attentive to all of my needs—definitely better than I remember from previous visits to Shan Kishi. To help keep prices affordable and minimize waste, just be mindful not to leave any food behind, as some portions could easily be considered full meals. We will absolutely return, as we truly appreciated the outstanding hospitality and delicious food!

Best sushi we've had in Miramar Beach or Destin! The rolls were perfect. Portions were generous, ingredients were top quality, the rice was cooked perfectly and the fish melted in your mouth. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful in helping us choose the right rolls. We came here on a whim and it's now over of our new favorite places to eat when we're here on vacation!

I'm giving this restaurant a 5-star rating because the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming, quite different from the snobbish attitudes found in some other places. The food quality was very good overall, though the rice didn't quite meet our expectations. As Asians, we tend to hold our rice to a higher standard. Nevertheless, we would definitely return to try more dishes—perhaps their noodles next time!

Excellent! The food and experience were fantastic. The all-you-can-eat lunch is an outstanding deal, and this is the first place where I could order unlimited items off the menu (i.e. where it was not a bar that I had to go up to for additional servings). Each dish was carefully crafted and tasted great. The only potential negative was the Katsu sauce was more ketchup-y than I expected, but there are plenty of other dishes for me to enjoy. I only wish I wasn't just passing through so I could eat here weekly, and I promise you I would.

We decided to try the all you can eat lunch sushi special that they offer before 3pm. The experience was unfortunately typical for ?all you can eat?. The staff were very pleasant. The restaurant was not at all crowded, and there were 2 sushi chefs working. After our first order was taken we waited 20 minutes for the rolls. The nigiri was mostly rice with salmon and tuna so thinly sliced on top I swear I could see rice kernels right through it. The rolls were barely average, decent, the Pacific roll was the best. We had 4 different rolls. They all tasted alike. We waited 10 minutes till the waitress came back so we could order round 2. Ordered 2 more rolls and a ginger salad. Salad back in 5 minutes. Nice creamy sweet dressing. 20 minutes later the rolls came out. Tasted the same. By now we had been there for over an hour and were tired of sitting. The place isn?t bad, but don?t expect to have delicious sushi rolls coming in one after another till you are stuffed.
