Fat Clemenza's - MIRAMAR BEACH

Large menu with lots of options. The pizza is the best in the area, and the pasta/meat dishes are incredible. Fast, friendly service in a cool atmosphere. Hidden gem.

I usually never write reviews but I had to this time around. This place serves decent food, but their practices are dishonest. For carry-out orders, they secretly add a gratuity of 10-20% without informing customers, which is misleading and unusual. When I questioned this in person, they claimed no manager was available and would not refund my money. The next day, I spoke with a manager, who was aggressive and argumentative. He insisted that the additional charge was policy and listed on their website, which is untrue—it’s not mentioned on their site or menu. He also justified the additional charge by saying that the chef cooks the food and the servers help package the food which is the reason they charge these additional percentages for carry out orders. ? If you don’t mind supporting a restaurant that deceives its customers, then this is the place for you. There are other reviews as well that highlight these fraudulent practices. Please DO NOT support a business that is in the business of ripping off people.

Dinner and a show. Italian food was great. Also saw and heard a couple break up.
