Miga's Florida - Miramar

Miga's Steakhouse is in my neighborhood so I love to visit it often but not just because is nearby, it's because it's menu is delicious. The meet is always perfect cooked and served. It has the best wines and the sweets and so yummy. The prices are ok for the service and the food. Thank goodness we have the best options to eat at Miramar Pembroke Pines.

Unfortunately, if you 're not Brazilian or don 't speak Spanish or Portuguese, you won 't feel welcome. I went to this establishment for a meeting and when I walked in all of the servers looked at me but didn 't greet me. I spotted the person I was meeting and after much discussion we spoke on what we were going to order. He was curious about the salmon being farm raised or if it was fresh fish. I called the waitress over to inquire and she says yes we have fish. After asking her three times if the salmon is fresh or farm raised, I recognize she doesn 't understand and she was getting frustrated. So I picked up my phone and went to Google translate. She understood and went to ask the chef but he didn 't know. So my guest went with the chicken. By the time our food came out she 'd switched tables with a sub par English-speaking server and didn 't make eye contact with us anymore. There was nothing special about the food and though I 'd never heard of this place before and the ratings were the highest in the area, I 'll never go back.

Ordered the Filet Mignon and it was prepared to perfection. Wait staff was very professional and courteous. Prices also reasonable.

The meat sandwich was good but the size of the skirt steak was a little disappointing. The thickness of the steak was thin as you can see in the picture you really didn't taste the meat.
