Wow! I absolutely loved this place! They hit every mark.

Heard great things about this place and many friends came on several occasions so I was excited to try it.__The dishes were ok but nothing extraordinary.

If you are looking for a good, casual restaurant, this is it! The food is tasty, the service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. I've been here several times for Birthday suppers, girls night out with the family or just an impromptu night out with my man and I have not been disappointed!The menu is lovely, with several pub like dishes. They also have specials written on a slate board and a special mention for their tartare which is delicious but my favourite is the chef's specialty drink, his twist on a gin gin mule. delicious!Wednesdays are booked solid due to their tartare/wine specials and reservations are a must. Although we have been lucky the few times we arrived there without reservations, a quick call ahead would be strongly suggested. In a nutshell, reasonable price, good service, lovely tasting dishes, a sure thing!

I went to this restaurant with a group of people from work for an evening. The place is very nicely decorated with a cozy atmosphere. you can sit right at the bar, in a booth, or at a number of different tables including a very interesting round table for large groups. I definitely liked the look and feel of the place.Their drink selection rivals most restaurants we've been to at a similar price range. A nice selection of private imported wines to choose from whether you want a glass or a bottle.The food is excellent. I heard that the chef of a very popular restaurant in the area helped the owner with his menu and it shows. They have a steady menu, but also a changing menu on chalkboard which varies from one visit to the next. Every dish is a feast for the eyes and even better in your mouth. The service was excellent. Fast but not rushed. I rarely got to touch my wine bottle as the waitress kept walking by and filling up my glass for me. Obviously this restaurant is a bit out of the way from Montreal. but that's what makes it great. For the people living or visiting on the North Shore of Montreal this restaurant is as good as most fine dining Montreal restaurants but without the traffic,parking etc. It's location right next to the highway makes it easy to get to.I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. I know a lot of people who have gone for an evening or lunch with friends or as a couple and everyone has nothing but positive reviews. I'll definitely be going back.
