Wabi Sabi Teppan Grill Sushi

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but it seems to have new management now. The menu has changed, and unfortunately, the quality was disappointing. I'm giving it 3 stars in hopes that the chef was just having an off day.

I paid $18 for a poke salad that was the size of a small child's portion. The serving was quite disappointing, and I think you really need to be more generous with your portions. Because of this experience, I'll be taking my business to Joni from now on.

We initially wanted to go to Benihana, but it was fully booked, so we looked for an alternative. The food was nearly on par with Benihana, but at a lower price. The main difference was the quality of the show; the chef was quite serious and didn’t interact with the diners, which was a bit disappointing since the interactive element is usually the fun part of teppanyaki. Additionally, the restaurant felt hot and stuffy due to poor ventilation. Overall, it was still a decent dining experience.

If you ever use a gift card, make sure to double check your balance before you leave, they will give you back a zero balance one. Even the workers there says they do it all the time. The owner knows about it and does nothing.

COCKROACHES were spotted inside and around the teppan table after finishing food! The lady in charge of tables had a terrible attitude, making us wait 30 minutes for water despite it not being busy. Teppan cook and employee girl bringing drinks were nice, but management/host were awful. Overall, not recommended.
