Contribuiți la feedbackTHIS IS AMAZING! I took my vegetarian friend here (I am neither vegetarian nor vegan) and we absolutely loved it. Seriously great food for a great price. We got the BLT sandwich and the soul food platter with ribs, corn bread, sweet potatoes, and Mac and cheese. Both were phenomenal. I only docked stars because the food took 5-10 minutes longer than I expected (not a huge deal, our server was awesome), and because of the reservation issue. I booked two people 7:30 Friday night a week before (I got follow up texts confirming the table). We arrived at 7:28 to be told they didn’t have a table for us (even though there was multiple tables dragged together for a larger group that hadn’t arrived yet) and we could eat at the bar or come back in 30 minutes. We didn’t get an apology or anything, the hostess was very nonchalant about it. We went over to a brewery for 30 minutes so no biggie, but we walked out wondering what the point of booking the reservation was? Also, when we arrived at 8:10 the large table hadn’t yet been filled, they came at shortly after. It was honestly no big deal, just sort of silly that a big section of the restaurant was empty while people with reservations were being turned away for 30 minutes. I won’t let this stop me from returning, some hostesses are better than others and the rest of the service was excellent! Just get to your reservation early or have a plan B prepared!
The staff honestly, made my daughter’s birthday over the top amazing. They know what they did, it was amazing, and we’ll forever remember them for it. We are forever in your debt : !! The food was overall very good. Though the BLT was apparently off the hook, two out of two diners vehemently agree. The chips and cheese need work. The cheese veered towards flavorless and the chips were fresh out of the bag, which is fine but the cheese needs to be a bullseye for store bought chips to fly. Lasagna was very tasty, though a touch dry. quesadilla was the clear winner and their house made, almond based caramel apple dipping sauce was fun and delightful. A special little spot that has a very bright future thanks to a staff committed to badassery as an art form.
Other than a fairly long wait for food it was a great experience. Servers were present helpful. Can’t wait to try other menu offerings.
I can’t say I enjoyed the food very much. My husband had their burger and fries which were extremely salty. I had lasagna which was good but also in my opinion overpriced $20. Wasn’t a fan of their ribs. There is some cheapness to the whole interior. Don’t think I will be coming back here. That said staff was super nice, our server was fantastic and very friendly. Compared to say J Selby’s (another vegan place in St. Paul) this place isn’t at all worth the money in my opinion.
The food was very good. This was me and my girlfriend's second time there and the service was perfect the first time. Due to this being valentine's day, the service was a bit slow, but they acknowledged and apologized for it.
