This is one of my go to places to bring out of towers, mainly for the shock factor of a Ferris wheel in Northeast. INSIDE: The vibes (and decor) are immaculate. So photogenic and Insta worthy! For this reason, be prepared to see several bachelorette parties. PATIO: This is usually where we hang! Great outside space with tables and chairs. You can even play putput! Riding the Ferris wheel is a must and yes, you can bring drinks onboard. And yes, ya gotta pay. FOOD: I always get snacks here so can't judge the whole menu, but food hasn't been anything to write home about. But fries are fries when you're hangry! DRINKS: The drink names are a hoot, and I really enjoyed my prickly pear Marg. SERVICE: It can get busy on weekends but they keep up well! Bar lost our food order during our visit, but corrected the error quickly. Such a fun spot to bring friends visiting, or stop for a bach party!
A fun place to go on a nice day to enjoy the patio! Very unique so you'll also enjoy the experience alongside the food! You can order and pay completely through your phone which makes it quick and efficient. We ordered food and drinks. I enjoyed the pickle spears and they come out piping hot and fresh! The drinks are run and delicious as well! I hear there's some wild Christmas decor around the holidays so I'll need to pay another visit come winter!
Betty Danger's has been on my bucket list for years. Came in on a rainy night so didn't get to ride the ferris wheel or experience much outside. Drinks were good and bartenders were friendly. Sad to hear it has closed. Glad I finally made it but wish I could have came back again to have the full experience.
I LOVE BETTY DANGER'S! (This review is not based on food but a good time The concept is amazing. I don't know about you or where you come from but where I live we do not have any restaurants with golf courses running through a building or a ferris wheel at a bar/restaurant. As I researched out trip to Minneapolis this place peaked my interest (and why wouldn't it?! I have a 10 year old. We stopped by after we had juicy lucy's elsewhere so we were stuffed! So we all had beverages, played mini golf and rode the wheel. We had fun! This is a great place for kids an adults. It was a late Thursday afternoon and it wasn't crowded. The decor is EXTREMELY eclectic. I loved it! I mean I wouldn't decorate my house inspired by Betty's but to hang there for a little yes! sitting on haystacks? Ok! Putting outside one side of the building and seeing if the ball went in on the other heck yes I am into it! Watching my 6 month old son ride on an old school quarter horse machine for the first time with his older sister, there for it! Ever take an alcoholic beverage on a ferris wheel? Now I have! (Also there is a tray built inside the wheel along with cup holders so you can eat and drink on the wheel. A little something for everyone here. I tried a minty berry beverage. A lot of mint but it was good. Refreshing to sip as we spun around overlooking the sun setting on the Mississippi river. My only suggestion to Betty is to touch up the animals. The paint is chipping or faded and I think it takes away from the vibe of being so hip and cool. Made it feel a little run down.
I mean how can you not love this unique local gem. I took my out-of-town family here one Saturday right when they opened and they couldn't stop talking about how much they loved it. We had a blast bicycle-blending our own margaritas and we loved the wheel. The bartenders inside were just extremely friendly and fun to talk with. If your intention is to go and have a good time then you can't go wrong here.
