Contribuiți la feedbackWe had a more casual wedding reception party and wanted a mini dessert spread so that guests could grab a treat as they wanted vs. waiting for a cake to be cut and served. We chose Cocoa Fig and could not have been happier! The dessert sample box was a fun way to try out their different offerings and, when the day came, our guests raved about all the different options. Favorites were the mini key lime pie and butterscotch shooters! We ended up adding a small 6' cake to round out the dessert display and saved that to enjoy after the event. It was as delicious as everything else! Best buttercream we have ever had.
We are so thrilled we ended up with Cocoa and Fig for our wedding day. After a few last minute changes and a wedding postponement, Cocoa and Fig made all of our wedding cake dreams come true! They accommodated a special flavor request and it was the most delicious wedding cake that we have ever had. The flavor, serving sizes, and elegance of the cake was so amazing!! Working with Joe, the owner, was also so wonderful! He is so kind and made the whole experience special. We would recommend Cocoa and Fig to anyone and everyone that is looking for a top notch bakery and wedding vendor!! Thank you thank you Cocoa and Fig!!
After we received our sample dessert box, our decision to choose Cocoa Fig was a no brainer. Guests RAVED about our mini dessert bar that we had at our wedding from Cocoa Fig. My husband and I didn't want to go the traditional wedding cake route, and found Cocoa Fig provided exactly what we were looking for. From the cake pops, mini cheesecakes (turtle pecan was a hit), flourless chocolate mini cakes, and mini fruit tarts, they were all gone within minutes (thankfully our day of coordinator saved us a few cake pops to take home). Joe was easy to communicate with and provided excellent service. For all of our future parties, we will definitely be using Cocoa Fig!
We hired Cocoa Fig to cater desserts at our wedding. We had a series of mini desserts and a small cake. The desserts were delivered and set up by Cocoa Fig staff in a beautiful spread. The cake design perfectly matched the photo we sent in and the strawberry champagne flavor was one of the best tasting cakes we ever had. The mini desserts were a huge hit at the wedding. We ordered the recommended amount based on the amount of people we had at the wedding and the entire table was cleared out by the end of the night which shows how much people enjoyed them. They were very easy to work with and accommodating when our wedding had to be rescheduled during Covid. We would highly recommend!
The other reviews basically summarize it up perfectly. You come here for the macarons! I have been here many, many times over the past 8-9 years and one thing is for certain: they make macaron magic. I've had macarons from other bakeries like Byerly's etc., and they are all garbage compared to these. The cupcakes are hit or miss. When they're moist or fresh they're really really good, but 50% or more of the time they're dry. And with how competitively priced the place is, it's not worth the gamble. Plus the selection is always small compared to other cupcake bakeries. That being said though, their doppleganger Hostess cupcake was amazing the one time I was lucky enough to find one. The cake pops are gross, but to be fair I think all cake pops are gross. The gluten free cake is super yummy. It's basically a pile of fudge. Also, the cookies are delicious. However, they're not any better than other good cookies. But what does it matter? You don't come here for cupcakes and the other stuff, you come here for macarons! Even if they are $2 for just one. They are exquisite every single time. Some of their flavors are constant and always available while others are temporary/specialty. Salted Caramel and Pistachio are my personal gotos of their regular flavors. But my absolute favorite is a specialty one that's not always available: Lemon Blueberry. I don't even like lemony treats usually. It is to die for. Tip, eat them same day for best texture and taste, and the colder the better without actually freezing them. I basically pop them in the fridge for a few hours when I get home. The ones that made it through the car ride anyhow without me eating them.
