Nolo's Kitchen - Minneapolis

We went to nolo on a Friday night to dinner. the vibe makes fun trendy. the music of throwback 2000 played to add to the young ambiente. they have unique cocktail recipes on the menu, and they are very tasty. limited weinlist, but that's okay! eating is American comfort. we started with the Yucaries served with a slightly spicy avocado aioli they were delicious! I had the ricotta gnocchi the mushrooms in it were divine. overall we enjoyed our experience at Nolo’s. they will be going back

The personal was so friendly to us. the decor/layout was modern and yet comfortable. the yuca fries calamari were simply amazing. soft offer with the perfect crustnut without excessive oil with exactly the right amount of spices. each handmade cocktail was perfectly balanced, simply presented.

I've been coming for over a year and have loved it. the crispy chicken sandwich and the breakfast kicked rice got me hooked and I would visit weekly, but it seems as this place becomes more popular, the more the overall quality and service goes down. I wasn't in a back and this last time amazed that I don't think I'll come back anytime soon. the noise level was very loud that I was hardly able to hear the person from me, unless we almost cried together and could not catch everything. the server seemed upset when we don't order drinks and order our food immediately. my friend got a pizza and the center was soggy and not completely boiled. I have the waving and wagging that was just a salty, spicy waffle with huh. I got extra sirup and could not taste the sweet of it after I had drowned the whole thing. when we told our waitress about the pizza, she replied, "Why didn't you tell me? whatever I just take it out of the bill” and went on to throw the bill on our table in annoying. poor service and the price for eating is far too high for a very medium meal. very sad and disappointed about the whole experience. no desire to return even for my clips when this is how the experience will go.

Eating was great and good value. it is perfect for a date night or simply, dinner with some friends. the server were attentive and knew the menu really well. eating came a little fast, so clearly not order immediately when they sit and chat before eating.

Awesome food and experience! Well worth the visit. Hope to go back soon
