Contribuiți la feedbackEvery facet of the experience was essentially perfect. Started with a cappacino which was from deeper roots beans. Excellently made. The waiter walked us through the entire menu and was very knowledgeable about every dish. The whole front of house team was great as you can see they work as a team to serve each customer. They are passionate their work and it shows. The food is a perfect combination of art and actually being delicious. You can clearly tell the care and expertise that went into it. Ambiance is elevated casual. One thing that did raise my eye brow was that there were some patrons in t shirt and flip flops. Usually places like this have a dress code. For a restaurant like this, I think they should encourage the proper attire. Can't wait to go again
The food was very good. The drinks highly overpriced. A glass of Rose was $17.50 which I think is truly too much. Decor is so so and the staff was ok but not great. All in all not bad but not outstanding.
It was another wonderful experience at Colette, currently my favorite Cincinnati restaurant. So many wonderful things about the experience. The wait staff was personable and attentive. The ambience was adorable. The food was amazing as usual. The puff pastry couldn't be better. For the first time I had the steak, and the steak was divine.
Food was very good. We were seated next to the kitchen and it was extremely loud. I highly recommend asking to sit in one of the back rooms. Server lacked enthusiasm and spoke very fast. We were constantly asking her to speak louder.
Really enjoyed Colette. Many different flavor profiles and with an excellent execution of each dish. We started out with the brioche and salted cod as starters. The brioche was beautiful with perfect amount of salt and pepper. The salted cod was very different, creamy and delicious. For the salad course we actually did the mushroom entree which was simply amazing and the best bite of the night. The combination of sauces and perfect char on the mushrooms truly were outstanding. From there my wife and I shared two entrees the steak frites and the duck confit. The duck was perfectly cooked, with an amazing skin however the pairing with whole beans and a buried lack luster sauce left the dish lacking. It really could be so much more with that well executed duck, but it just wasn't there. Any other sauce pairing or more finely cooked grain accompaniment would make this so much better. The steak frites were good. The sauce here was well prepared and the frites excellent. The steak was very tender and well cooked but a little cool. The steak could have used a bit more char and heat. We finished with the mousse which was a nice finish. The meal started out really strong, but peaked at the mushrooms. Wish the entrees could have been a bit better. Gabby was our server and provided excellent navigation of the menu and was quite excellent.
