Godfather's Pizza Express - Minneapolis

I had a personal-sized combo pizza, and it really upset my stomach. I'm concerned there might have been some poor-quality ingredients. Unfortunately, I won't be going back, as I remember Godfather's as one of the best pizza places from their buffet days. It seems like their recipes have changed, possibly outsourced from China, and modified in a way that's not good for American palates anymore. I was quoted over $20 for a large special pizza, which seemed quite steep. The staff behind the counter were friendly, but the cashiers weren't as pleasant. When I inquired about a specific item, they seemed quite annoyed to assist me.

I can't comment on the pizza, but the chicken and waffles here are excellent. They were crispy and juicy. There’s definitely room for improvement, though. I had it in the morning.

We can no longer find Godfather's Pizza in Wisconsin, so we made sure to stop by before embarking on our multi-hour drive home.
