Contribuiți la feedbackEating was good, but I was not satisfied with the last few experiences and I have come here for 7 years, so simply disappointed. they were from certain items on the menu, but we were not told until each one of us put in our order. this happened three times in succession. I understand that they can make up something, but it would be helpful if the server was aware of this and before or if we instructed us to save us all the time. especially since the items were on the menu. also our food was served in takeaway boxes, including an salad served in a paper cup. we have not ordered to go, we dinted so that we would have appreciated a din in experience with actual plates or dishes. especially for the price we paid. it felt like we were rushed to eat and out of the door, although the restaurant did not close. Maybe there's a way of training for employees. I want to return definitiw, but service /dining experience goes along with good eating.
It wasn't eaten long there and was looking forward to it. the website checked to make sure they were open and it said they were. drove from the North Metro only to find the door with a sign that weinparty. Websites should have said they were closed. my friend with me said that she had also happened in the past.
Amazing eating! we had anna attentive to the 1st birthday party of our daughter and everyone has eaten over the food and wanted to know where to get it! would highly recommend for their next party, authentic and tasty!
Best Greek restaurant I was there before. the suppe was tasty and they have this turnover dinge, which are filled with spinat and feta for which to die. anna, the owner, buys high quality food and understands the meaning of grass fed and organic food.
I had not been to Gardens of Salonica for many years—more than ten. I was delighted to discover that it’s culinary standard is still at the highest level. It is a small, unassuming place, hidden away in a corner of Northeast Minneapolis with a weather beaten sign out front. We came for a late lunch. We started with a refreshing glass of hand squeezed lemonade sweetened with local honey. (I think I recognized the flavor of the honey maker from the Farmers’ Market It was the best glass of lemonade I had anywhere in the world for many years. For an appetizer we had a tray of three mezes: puréed fava beans that were smooth and buttery, puréed eggplant with herbs and olive oil, and strips of beautiful roasted peppers in oil and garlic. Even the red onion that garnished the dish had been washed under cold water to remove their sharpness. Very few restaurants take that much care. I had a simple vegetarian wrap with tzatziki (delicious) served with perfect French fries. The potatoes were first cut into larger planks and then in thin slices that came out like potato chips. No ketchup!—Only vinegar. My lunch partner had a beautiful vegan dish of fava beans. By the end of the meal we were so full we might ordinarily have forgone dessert, although I remembered their considerable craft and creativity with sweets. On offer today was a blood orange cake saturated with blood orange syrup. Everything in this lunch was made with care, with joy and with love. Even before I commented on it, my luncheon partner noticed the inner smile that love and care left us with. Food that fed the heart as much as the stomach. Brilliant and I am so glad that I thought check back again.
