Francis Burger Joint - Minneapolis

Staff are always welcoming when you arrive and easy to talk to while you’re there. Ordering through the app is easy but they also have paper menus readily available. It’s nice they have the two kinds of separate spaces; where you enter is the bar area with mostly high tops, whereas the side room is bigger lower sitting tables. The burgers and fries are to DIE for; my husband told a floor manager “ I could bring my dad here and he wouldn’t know it’s not actual meat” and the manager replied “ That’s what we’re going for!” LOL Have been there 5 times in less than a few weeks and plan on more in the near future!Vegetarian options: Most burgers seem to be swappable between home made black bean patties and Impossible patties with no additional charge. Both are prepared to be juicy and flavorful!

A great place for a vegan meal. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The service and food were both fantastic! The team members were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered a Chocolate Milkshake, Hamburger, MN Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Nuggets and Fries. All were very good and would recommend. Can’t wait to come back to try other menu items!

The concept is sound but the execution is, meh.They only use Impossible Burgers for their meat options. Many pros to IB but cons too, including but not limited to:limited research available on long-term safety of soy leghemoglobincontains some common food allergens, such as soymade with genetically modified ingredientshigher in sodium than regular beef$16 for burger where u can buy 2 patties of IB at store for $5. $14 for loaded fries?! They even charge for condiments! I support fair wage etc for servers in Mpls but they should actually work for it. Here they expect you to use Toast app/QR code to order your food, pay via app, etc. They only bring out food then disappear. Not even come back to ask how things are going. We fill our own water. Have to ask to fill carafe. What is the 20% surcharge for when we did most of the work? I tip 20%-25% if I 'm actually being served.The bar area n brick n mortar place is nicely appointed.Doubtful will be back but few 100% plant based place nearby....

I can't say enough about how amazing Francis is! Outstanding food and drinks! They have the BEST Spicy Margarita that I have EVER had! Their drink menu has so many cool and unique cocktails that are different from any I have had before. Then there is the food...I literally think about the Chicken Sandwich daily. My daughter went 3 times the first week they were open, and continues to go weekly! There isn't an item in the menu that I've tried that is anything less than AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend everyone tries it! You definitely do NOT need to be a vegan to love this food. Trust me, TRY IT! You'll love it and will ABSOLUTELY be back for more!Vegetarian options: The entire menu, including drinks, is vegan. No meat or dairy products, so perfectly suitable for vegetarians!

I got the Francis burger with double patties and fries. It was really good- juicy and flavorable! The fries were fine, I prefer the thick cut personally but still good. They also have a wide variety of drinks, n/an included. The restaurant’s vibe is so cool, they have a really great music selection. They have murals, cozy lighting and plants in the windows. You can order your food off a paper menu or on your phone. I love the aesthetic. I’ll be back for sure to try more off the menu!
