Five Watt Coffee, E Hennepin

I love this coffee shop! I tried the Busy Beaver this time, and I highly recommend it! It was so crowded that we couldn't find a seat, so we decided to head to a museum instead. The coffee was really good!

What I love about Five Watt is that each location offers its own unique specialty drinks! At the Hennepin Avenue location, I tried their all day/all night iced drink, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a nice sweetness to it, which I really enjoy. I usually ask baristas for recommendations on the sweeter options, and the barista at Five Watt mentioned that they can adjust the sweetness of most drinks according to your preference. Another great advantage of this location is the large free parking lot right next to it, which completely takes away the hassle of street parking downtown! I've been wanting to visit Five Watt for quite some time, and I'm so glad I finally did. The space is very spacious and has plenty of seating, along with free Wi-Fi available for getting work done. I really love the atmosphere!

The restaurant offers secure Wi-Fi, a pleasant ambiance, and a fantastic cup of coffee. It's a wonderful place to work remotely. I ordered the All Day All Night and tried to savor my coffee, but it was so delicious that I found myself wanting to gulp it down! The foam on top was a real highlight for me. It's a bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it.

My mocha was delicious. The atmosphere here is fantastic. I only wish the staff had felt more welcoming. They don't greet you when you walk in at all. I was in line for a beverage and it was probably 10 mins before I was even acknowledged by any of the three staff. I understand being busy, just want to point out how the little gesture can change a person's perspective. Also, asked for a napkin and they basically rolled their eyes because I didn't know where they kept them. I'd never been here and I don't go to coffee shops often- it wasn't a good feel when I know I can go to a coffee shop that is more inviting. The place smells great and is so cool decor wise.

Beautiful space. Friendly staff. I learned about a coffee drink I’d never heard of before—Gibraltar—halfway between a macchiato and a cappuccino and served in a real glass not a paper cup no less. Thanks for a beautiful morning.
